José Luis Cogolludo, president and CEO of Afianza, reveals exclusively the growth plans of one of the most dynamic business consulting firms in the Spanish market: more than 120 million euros in turnover this year, new acquisitions on the horizon and headquarters in one of the most iconic buildings in Madrid.
A path of sustained growth
Afianza closed 2025 with a turnover of 83 million euros, 53.2% more than in 2024, consolidating an upward trend that now aims to overcome the barrier of 120 million in 2026.
This rate of expansion is not casual. The company has combined organic growth with an acquisition strategy that has allowed it to expand both its customer base and its operational capacity.
The Afianza profile: medium size, high value
Who does Afianza serve?
Afianza provides services to companies of different sizes, from SMEs to MidMarket companies and large corporations. The firm has around 1,500 professionals in Spain and has built a comprehensive proposal to accompany business needs in different areas of specialization.
The Strategic Role of BlackRock
Afianza has the financial support of BlackRock through a financing of 110 million euros, destined to boost its expansion and accelerate its acquisition plan. This support provides the financial muscle company to grow inorganically and continue integrating new firms.
Cogolludo stresses that this support has given Afianza the flexibility to grow in an inorganic way without relying on capital markets, discarding for the moment giving new partners into the company's capital.
Procurement plan 2025-2026
The company has closed 65 acquisitions since its foundation, most in the last five years, and only in 2025 completed 15 operations. In the face of 2026, it plans to exceed the fifteen acquisitions. The selection criteria prioritize:
- Sectoral or geographical complementarity with the current portfolio
- Operational integration capacity in the short term
- Contribution of specialized talent and customer base
New headquarters in Torre Emperador: a bet on the image
Between October and November 2025, Afianza moved its corporate headquarters to Torre Emperador, one of the most recognizable skyscrapers of the Madrid skyline. A movement that reflects the new dimension of the company and strengthens its institutional positioning vis-à-vis customers and partners.
Prospects: grow quickly, but without pause
Cogolludo discards short-term stock market exits and is committed to a combined growth model: organic, through the acquisition of new customers and the development of current and inorganic ones, through selective acquisitions that add capacity and specialization.
With more than 120 million euros on the horizon by 2026, Afianza is positioned as a reference in the consultancy for the Spanish business segment, a market with wide distance and little competition of first level.
